Oatmeal Stouts are brewed usually with real oatmeal! Just like you have for breakfast! Oatmeal can help give the beer a delicate silky mouthfeel which compliments the dark and rich style of a stout quite well. Oatmeal makes its way into the grain bill of other beers as well.
