Brewed with the bitterless black malt Blackprinz, this dark German lager brings you the pleasant roast and chocolate of a stout but without the bitter, dry and astringent flavours from your typical roasted malts. Fermented longer at a colder temperature to bring you a crisp dark lager.
Fun Facts: The word “Schwarzbier” literally translates to “black beer”. The word “prinz” is spelled the way it is, because of the “Black Prinz” malt used in the recipe. Black Prinz is a bitterless black malt that gives off smooth roast and chocolate flavours without the typical bitterness that comes from roasted dark malts.
